Terraced Lodges & Palm Trees

Lodges occupy 25-acres of beautifully landscaped, lush-green Essex countryside. Unlike some parks that are built on relatively flat plains, the natural slopping terrain found at Homestead Lake Country Park, creates an attractive and interesting terraced landscape. Much planning and thought has been devoted to the positioning of each lodge in consideration to, the direction of the sun, occupant privacy and the surrounding views.

The park is exceptionally clean and maintained to very high standards for the benefit and enjoyment of lodge owners and visitors. For the security conscious and for peace of mind, access to the park is gated and secure at all times.

Homestead Lake is the Place to Be

Homestead Lake country park is situated in Weeley, a small Essex village in the heart of the Tendering holiday peninsula. The park benefits from some of the sunniest and driest weather in the UK, thanks to its enviable proximity to the Essex Sunshine Coast.

The park is located in an area of Essex awash with attractions and things to do. The region is steeped in history and is just a few miles away from the Roman town of Colchester - Britain's oldest recorded town. There are number of interesting places to visit including, The Dedham Vale, St. Osyth, Walton-on-the-Naze and Frinton-on-Sea, with miles of clean, soft, sandy beaches.

It is said that, "water has a natural calming effect" and as the park is situated just 15 minutes from the coast, it is only right that water should play an important role at Homestead Lake Country Park. Boasting 2-lakes including, a well stocked 2-acre fishing lake, which sits at the base of the park. The impressive lake is occupied by several species of Carp, Bream, Perch, Tench, Roach and Eels.

The smallest of the two lakes provides a serene and relaxing setting for the lodges that nestle tightly against it. Both lakes are inhabited by local wildlife that help to cultivate a feeling of calmness and inner peace that's essential for a healthy mind, body & spirit.

If you feel like eating out and don't want to venture too far, the on-site Homestead Cabin Café and Restaurant is just a short walk away. Choose from a comprehensive selection of freshly produced cold and cooked foods include, baguettes, toasted sandwiches and of course, a very popular "All Day Breakfast".
