Two acre fishing lake – the jewel in the crown

Whether you choose to partake in a spot of fishing or not, it is hard not to appreciate the inexplicable and inherent calming effect of water. When you visit Homestead Lake County Park for the first time one of the first things you will see at the base of the holiday park is, a spectacular two acre lake of some 250 feet in length.

The centrepiece lake is home to several lake-side fishing lodges and offers an impressive backdrop to the park. The lakes at Homestead also play an important ecological role within the park and are host to an abundance of wildlife, which is enjoyed greatly by all who visit.
