Terraced Lodges & Palm Trees
44 Holiday lodges occupy 25-acres of beautifully landscaped, lush-green Essex countryside. Unlike some holiday parks that are built on relatively flat plains, the natural slopping terrain found at Homestead Lake Country Park, creates an attractive and interesting terraced landscape. Much planning and thought has been devoted to the positioning of each log cabin in consideration to, the direction of the sun, occupant privacy and the surrounding views.
The holiday park is exceptionally clean and maintained to very high standards for the benefit and enjoyment of lodge owners and visitors. For the security conscious and for peace of mind, access to the holiday park is gated and secure at all times.
Homestead Lake is the Place to Be
Homestead Lake holiday park is situated in Weeley, a small Essex village in the heart of the Tendering holiday peninsula. The lodge park benefits from some of the sunniest and driest weather in the UK, thanks to its enviable proximity to the Essex Sunshine Coast.
Homestead Lake is located in an area of Essex awash with attractions and things to do. The region is steeped in history and the park is just a few miles away from the Roman town of Colchester - Britain's oldest recorded town. There a number of interesting coastal areas to visit including, St. Osyth, Walton-on-the-Naze and Clacton-on-Sea, with miles of clean, soft, sandy beaches.
Good for your Mind, Body & Spirit
It is said that, "water has a natural calming effect" and as the park is situated just a few miles from the Essex East coast, it is only right that water should play an important role at Homestead Lake Country Park. The holiday park boasts 2-lakes including, a well stocked 2-acre fishing lake, which sits at the base of the holiday park. The impressive fishing lake is occupied by several species of Carp, Bream, Perch, Tench, Roach and Eels.
The smallest of the two lakes provides a serene and relaxing setting for the leisure lodges that nestle tightly against it. Both lakes are inhabited by local wildlife that help to cultivate a feeling of calmness and inner peace that's essential for a healthy mind, body & spirit.
